- I am a self taught, self-representing artist that tries to spend as much time as possible creating my art and marketing it. Unfortunately a health issue limits my time but I do use every good moment available to work on my love of art. I love to create in various styles and mediums but I am best known for my "Life in Northern Canada" folk art series. I am especially fond of creating functional pieces of art from recyclables. To take a discarded piece of furniture and create a painting on it transforming it into a functional piece of art is my favorite thing to do. It also makes me feel good to recycle something that was destined for the trash. One less piece of waste in the landfill. I find the older I get the more concerned I become with the environment and helping to reduce the waste. I am always happy to take commissions as long as a fair bit of time is allowed.
